BusBiz requires all of our drivers to have well-developed customer service and strong communication skills and a current Heavy Vehicle licence, Drivers Accreditation/ Driver Authority and Working with Children Certificate. Prior experience in bus driving is highly regarded but not essential.
Being a Bus Driver is both a challenging and rewarding role. We are looking for people with exceptional customer service skills and a good driving record who enjoy interacting with the public and can provide reliable quality service to the community.
In order to be considered for a role at BusBiz, Bus Drivers must have or be willing to obtain the following:
You must have a medium-rigid (MR) driver’s licence as a minimum. Your licence must be a full licence and not a probationary licence.

You must have or be willing to obtain a relevant Driver Accreditation allowing you to drive passenger vehicles.
In Victoria, the Taxi Directorate issues Driver Accreditations, and you are required to undergo a police check and medical assessment in order to apply for one. For more information, you can contact Commercial Passenger Vehicles Victoria.
In NSW, Roads and Maritime issues Driver Authority, you must undergo a police check and medical assessment and complete a training course provided by a trainer authorised by BusNSW to apply for one. For more information, you can contact Roads and Maritime.
In South Australia, the Accreditation and Licensing Centre issues Driver Accreditations. You are required to undergo a medical assessment and gain a clearance to work with children to apply for one. For more information, you can contact the Accreditation and Licensing centre.
At BusBiz, all Bus Drivers are all required to have a current working with children check.
Victorian WWC Checks are available through the Victorian Department of Justice.
NSW WWC Checks are available through the NSW Government.
